 Woodcreek was the  2-0 winner over Roseville when they last played one another  last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodcreek Timberwolves fell just short of the Roseville Tigers by a score of  6-5 on Thursday.
  Jacob Nereson was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Conner Barth made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Ty Hennessy was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 On Roseville's side,  Lincoln Dotoli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
