Volleyball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Coram Deo Academy challenged Waskom on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats.

Coram Deo Academy found their leader in freshman Carolyn Gillen, who had 14 digs and nine aces. Those nine aces set a new season-high mark for Gillen. Andrea Oppong-Bawuah also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Coram Deo Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.
