Recap: Kellogg Wildcats vs. Moscow Bears
The Kellogg Wildcats lost against the Moscow Bears back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Kellogg might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Moscow an easy 55-32 win. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kellogg has scored all season.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Coe, who scored 11 points. The match was Coe's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Macy Jerome, who scored eight points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Kellogg and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Moscow, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Kellogg is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Sandpoint will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Moscow will be home for the holidays to greet Timberlake at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Timberlake is ranked 45th, while Moscow is ranked 39th).
