Basketball Recap: Livingston Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Livingston Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Booker T. Washington Lions, falling 63-13. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Lions are ranked 90th).

Livingston Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Booker T. Washington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livingston Collegiate Academy will square off against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Booker T. Washington, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Booker T. Washington Lions take on the Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Booker T. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
