Baseball Recap: Noxubee County Comes Up Short

Noxubee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Point Green Wave, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 back in February.

Noxubee County's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for West Point, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-20.

Looking ahead, Noxubee County will be playing at home against Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will challenge Shannon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Green Wave are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
