Williamson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played LeFlore, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. Williamson blew past LeFlore 13-0 on Saturday. The game was the first time the Lions have beaten the Rattlers on their field since March 14, 2019.

Oneal Thomas made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Thomas was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those hits marked the first that he got this season.

In other batting news, Williamson got a massive performance out of Todrick Withers, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. Those hits were Withers' first of the season. Elijah Lucky was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing six bases while going 2-for-2.

Williamson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Williamson's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for LeFlore, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Williamson beat LeFlore by a score of 14-5 later that day.
