Basketball Recap: Malichai Brown Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rocklin

Antelope is still undefeated this season after their game against Rocklin on Friday, but Rocklin came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Titans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Thunder 51-48. Those 51 points were actually the fewest the Titans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antelope to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malichai Brown, who posted 15 points and three steals. The contest was Brown's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Murray, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Antelope's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Rocklin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Antelope has already played their next matchup, a 54-53 loss against Inderkum on the 6th. As for Rocklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-61 win against Clovis West on the 6th.
