The Athenian Owls will be taking part in a tournament against the Marin Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Athenian took a loss when they played away from home back in November, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Cristo Rey De La Salle as they made off with a 61-40 victory. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Eshaan Anand and Koen Feyock were among the main playmakers for Athenian as the former posted 19 points and the latter scored 18 points. That's the most points Anand has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brandon Yoo, who put up nine points.
