Laughlin's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Laughlin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DaVinci Faccioli, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Aidan Trinidad-Rodriguez, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points and three steals.

Laughlin was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Lake Mead Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Samuel Sandrin, who scored nine points along with six boards and three steals. Jayden Owens also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Laughlin moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Laughlin will take on Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Laughlin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
