Baseball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer fell victim to Spring Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-7 back in March.

Gilmer dropped their record down to 13-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Spring Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Gilmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Lindale at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
