Baseball Recap: Pine Forest Trojans vs. Triton Hawks
While Pine Forest's win against Triton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Hawks on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since February 26th.
Ryan Temple made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
