Softball Recap: Simley Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Simley won the last time they faced South St. Paul and things went their way on Monday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Packers by a score of 9-4.

Simley pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for South St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simley will take on Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South St. Paul, they will square off against Tartan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
