Volleyball Recap: Longview Takes a Loss

Longview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lufkin Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-14, 25-13.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lufkin, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Longview and Lufkin will both be playing White Oak the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Roughnecks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lobos will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
