Basketball Recap: Life Christian Academy Victorious

Life Christian Academy won the last time they faced Rocket City and things went their way on Friday too. The Life Christian Academy Lions came out on top against the Rocket City Falcons by a score of 60-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was JJ Minnon, who posted ten points and six steals. That's the most points Minnon has posted since back in November of 2024. James David Coln was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Life Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Rocket City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 16 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Life Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Franklin Classical School at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Rocket City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-56 loss against Bradley Knights on the 8th.
