Baseball Recap: Fannin County Comes Up Short

Fannin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Gordon Lee Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-1 defeat last Thursday.

Fannin County's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Gordon Lee, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 22-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fannin County will take on rival Dade County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gordon Lee is set to square off against their familiar foe Gordon Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home while the Warriors have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
