Soccer Recap: Middle Tennessee Christian Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Middle Tennessee Christian was not quite Cannon County's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 5-1 to the Lions. Middle Tennessee Christian haven't had much luck with Cannon County recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Middle Tennessee Christian's goal came courtesy of Ava Crain, which was the first she's scored this season.

Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Cannon County, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middle Tennessee Christian will take on Coffee County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cannon County, they will challenge Bledsoe County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
