Volleyball Recap: Athol Comes Up Short

The Athol Bears came up short against the Springfield International Charter School Bulldogs on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Athol started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-23.

Athol's loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Athol wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Belchertown on the 8th. Springfield International Charter School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
