Basketball Game Preview: Gentry Pioneers vs. Shiloh Christian Saints

The Gentry Pioneers will venture away from home to take on the Shiloh Christian Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Gentry strolled past Prairie Grove with points to spare, taking the game 48-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Meanwhile, Shiloh Christian entered their tilt with Huntsville on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 41-30.

Shiloh Christian pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Gentry, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Gentry ended up a good deal behind Shiloh Christian in their previous meeting back in January, losing 54-38. Can Gentry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
