Basketball Recap: Evadale Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Evadale can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They greeted the New Year with with a 47-33 win over the Danbury Panthers.

Evadale's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Danbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Sabine Pass the next time they take the court. Danbury will head out to face Sabine Pass at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Evadale will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
