Baseball Recap: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Luther Prep last Friday, Winnebago Lutheran Academy came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Mary's Springs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Winnebago Lutheran Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
