Baseball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

Lake View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-5 to the Liberty Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-1 defeat back in March.

Lake View's loss dropped their record down to 6-21-1. As for Liberty, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lake View is set to square off against their familiar foe Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty will take on rival Levelland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Patriots have won six straight at home, while the Lobos won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
