Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Soledad). Their defense stepped up to hand the Ceiba College Preparatory Academy Spartans a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Aztecs needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Soledad picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-6-1. As for Ceiba College Preparatory Academy, they moved to 4-8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Soledad will square off against Carmel at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carmel's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Soledad's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ceiba College Preparatory Academy, they will host Gonzales at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
