Basketball Recap: Carrollton Piles Up the Points Against Holden

Carrollton's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Holden Eagles, posting a 58-29 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Trojans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Carrollton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Holden, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Carrollton will take on Hardin-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardin-Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Carrollton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holden, they will head out to face off against Knob Noster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
