Baseball Recap: Springboro Falls Short Against Ranked Badin

Springboro faced Badin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Springboro's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Badin, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Springboro and Badin will both be playing Centerville the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Elks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
