Canby came out on top against Centennial on Tuesday thanks in part to Alli Hayzlett's efforts. Hayzlett wasn't messing around, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The pitching appearance was her tenth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Hayzlett and Canby will host Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are a perfect 4-0 against the Broncos going back to April of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
