League recap: Blountstown extends winning streak with victory over Northview

Blountstown added to the longest winning streak in 1A District 3 this week by beating Northview, 31-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Tigers.

Chipley took down Graceville 48-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Johnathan Ortner threw for 310 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 23-41 with 1 interception.

Ortner put up the best numbers through the air as South Walton lost to Baker. Ortner's favorite target this week was Sage Roberts, who caught 7 passes for 78 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Seahawks' Ortner and Roberts have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Ortner has thrown for 2,596 yards this season, while Roberts has 67 catches for 938 yards. kobe mccary from the Tigers leads the league in rushing with 988 yards.

In 124 carries mccary has put up 988 yards this year.

South Walton's Roberts needs only 62 receiving yards against Port St. Joe to crack 1,000 for the season. So far this year, he has garnered 67 catches for 938 yards.

Bozeman made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,148 from 12,461. The improvement was largely due to a 63-36 victory over North Bay Haven Academy last week.
