Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Central Trojans vs. North Miami Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Tri-Central Trojans will get right back to it and host the North Miami Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Central is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Tri-Central didn't have quite enough to beat Carroll and fell 47-45. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Cougars are ranked 159th).

Meanwhile, North Miami beat North Judson-San Pierre 55-44 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Tri-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for North Miami, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Tri-Central took their victory against North Miami in their previous matchup back in November of 2019 by a conclusive 62-40. Does Tri-Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Miami turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
