Volleyball Recap: Moffat County Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Moffat County and Rangely had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Moffat County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Rangely work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 19-25, 26-24.

Jae Paisley Jenison paced Moffat County's offense, picking up five kills. Jenison got some help from Adrian Profumo and her seven assists. Profumo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Moffat County's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Rangely, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Moffat County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Olathe on the 11th. As for Rangely, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Caprock Academy on the 12th.
