Football Game Preview: Crossover Prep Lions vs. Destiny Christian Wildcats

Crossover Prep is 0-6 against Destiny Christian since September of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Crossover Prep has given up an average of 38 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Crossover Prep is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Marmaton Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lions were beaten by the Wildcats 74-6. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Meanwhile, Destiny Christian came up short against Sunrise Christian Academy on Friday and fell 50-38. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Buffaloes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Destiny Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Crossover Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Crossover Prep was dealt a bruising 56-26 defeat at the hands of Destiny Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lions were down 38-12.
