Volleyball Recap: Lucerne Valley Takes a Loss

Lucerne Valley lost against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-13.

Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy found their leader in sophomore Isabella Chavez, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Lucerne Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Lucerne Valley will face off against Academy of Careers & Exploration at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Eagle at the right time seeing as the Eagle are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 0-0 victory against Victor Valley Christian on the 14th.
