Volleyball Recap: Scottsburg Takes a Loss

Scottsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the New Albany Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

While Scottsburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-12.

Scottsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for New Albany, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Scottsburg will challenge rival Center Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, New Albany is set to face off against their familiar foe Jennings County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
