Volleyball Recap: Beacon Academy Takes a Loss

Beacon Academy lost against Lycee Francais de Chicago back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trailblazers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lycee Francais de Chicago.

While Beacon Academy had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.

Beacon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Beacon Academy will face off against Cruz at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trailblazers are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, they will host Christian Heritage Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
