Baseball Recap: Apple Valley Gets the Win

Apple Valley won the last time they faced Alta Loma and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Apple Valley Sun Devils walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Alta Loma Braves.

Ethan Yazzie looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned runs in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Seth Robertson was incredible, scoring four runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Reveron, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Apple Valley's record is now 3-1. As for Alta Loma, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apple Valley will face off against Palmdale at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Apple Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season. As for Alta Loma, they will take on Eisenhower at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eisenhower will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Alta Loma surely won't give up without a fight.
