Texas Lions HomeSchool waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They managed a 63-58 victory over the Glenn Grizzlies. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Grizzlies are ranked 366th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Texas Lions HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Stewart, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Page, who posted 15 points in addition to six boards and six steals.

Texas Lions HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Glenn, they moved to 7-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Texas Lions HomeSchool and Glenn will both be playing Harker Heights the next time they take the court. Glenn will head out to face Harker Heights at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Texas Lions HomeSchool will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
