Brandon Keyes gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Saturday. Nobody could stop him as he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

Keyes' strong effort led Grosse Pointe North over Chippewa Valley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Norsemen will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 217 places lower in Michigan), but they're not letting that get them down.
