If Andrew Jackson beats Buford with six goals on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Andrew Jackson was the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Lewisville on Wednesday. Considering the Volunteers have won four games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Lewisville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Julia Ardrey led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Buford ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past York Prep 2-1.

Buford's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
