Volleyball Game Preview: South County Stallions vs. Alexandria City Titans + How To Watch

South County hasn't had much luck against Alexandria City recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. Alexandria City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South County, who comes in off a win.

South County took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Woodson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Stallions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was South County who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Alexandria City suffered their biggest loss since August 26th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to West Springfield. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Alexandria City was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

South County's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Alexandria City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
