The El Capitan Gauchos will square off against the Los Banos Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Capitan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.9 points per game this season.

On Thursday, El Capitan earned a 14-6 victory over Buhach Colony. The Gauchos haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Capitan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avnoor Bains, who picked up 107 receiving yards and one touchdown. Bains also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making three total tackles and defending one pass. Madysen Dietz also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to El Capitan's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Isabella Magana was the leader with two.

Meanwhile, while Los Banos put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Golden Valley. The Tigers claimed a resounding 31-0 victory over the Cougars. Considering the Tigers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Los Banos' win came from a few key players El Capitan will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaylee Fuentes, who threw for 184 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 35 yards. That's the most passing yards she has posted over her last eight matchups. Siena Freitas was Fuentes' top target, picking up 64 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one rushing score.

El Capitan's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Los Banos, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-8.
