Copper Hills came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 92-57 loss at the hands of Davis. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Darts recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Copper Hills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eli Mulford posted 14 points. Cameron Wilson was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, Layton got the win against Fremont on Tuesday by a conclusive 83-58. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Silverwolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Layton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Copper Hills, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
