Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indian Trail). Everything went their way against the Kenosha Tremper Trojans on Friday as they made off with a 29-7 win. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won eight in a row.

It was another big night for Cade Minatto, who rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 146 receiving yards and one score.

Minatto was just one part of a punishing run game: Indian Trail was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Indian Trail's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Kenosha Tremper, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
