Football Game Recap: Battle Mountain vs. Steamboat Springs

Battle Mountain might be getting used to good results now that the team have four wins in a row. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Steamboat Springs, sneaking past 35-33. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

The win bumped Battle Mountain's record up to 6-1. The defeat dropped Steamboat Springs' record to 2-5.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Battle Mountain will take on Glenwood Springs at home at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Battle Mountain, Glenwood Springs will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Steamboat Springs, they will face off against Summit.
