Lincoln Charter is 8-2 against Community School of Davidson since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Lincoln Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Lincoln Charter and Christ the King, and Christ the King kept the tradition alive. The Eagles fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Adam Rodgers put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Nate Rollins was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Community School of Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pine Lake Prep.

Community School of Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lincoln Charter, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 18-5.

Lincoln Charter skirted past Community School of Davidson 6-4 in their previous meeting on April 8th. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
