Basketball Recap: North Murray Takes a Loss

North Murray lost against Coahulla Creek back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Murray Mountaineers took a blow against the Coahulla Creek Colts, falling 54-13. While losing is never fun, the Mountaineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Colts are ranked 158th).

North Murray has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Coahulla Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

North Murray has already played their next game (against Union County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coahulla Creek will challenge North Cobb Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coahulla Creek is facing North Cobb Christian at the right time seeing as North Cobb Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
