Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Norcross Blue Devils. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Centennial's offense was headlined by Mya Saeed and Kelsey Barker, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Hannah Tuttle and her four assists.

Grayson Taylor was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Norcross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 27-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Centennial will head out to take on Blessed Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norcross, they will venture away from home to challenge Buford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
