Soccer Recap: Comstock Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kelloggsville on Thursday, Comstock Park came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Wayland Wildcats on Friday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Comstock Park of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2015.

Comstock Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Wayland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Coming up, Comstock Park will be playing at home against Fruitport at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Union at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
