After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Churubusco brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Lakewood Park Christian Panthers 17-1 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Churubusco's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Lakewood Park Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Churubusco will head out to square off against Prairie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakewood Park Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Cadets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
