Basketball Recap: Bishop Manogue Find Success + How To Watch

Bishop Manogue proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 53) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Christian Brothers Falcons 67-66. Given the Miners' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Nevada, while the Falcons are ranked 176th in California) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Manogue's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Sheridan, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 17 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Sorensen, who shot 55% from the field en route to 21 points.

Despite the loss, Christian Brothers still got an impressive performance from Braeden Hennelly, who went 9-for-17 to rack up 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Hennelly continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jaden DeJesus-Eves was another key player, shooting 86% from the field on his way to 13 points and six boards.
