Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oakland-Craig walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over Homer on Thursday. Oakland-Craig has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Oakland-Craig's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sonya Guzinski, who shot 58% from beyond the arc on her way to 25 points. Guzinski is on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 42% in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hilary Ray, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

The victory (which was Oakland-Craig's seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-3. As for Homer, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 24-3.

Oakland-Craig wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-45 win against Crofton on the 7th. Homer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
