Even though Ben Lomond has not done well against North Sanpete recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Ben Lomond walked away with a 68-59 win over North Sanpete. Winning may never get old, but Ben Lomond sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ben Lomond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jonathan Alcarez, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Alcarez hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jake East, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Green Canyon has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Ben Lomond, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Green Canyon hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 67.5 points per game. It's a different story for Ben Lomond, though, as they've been averaging only 58.2 per game. The only thing between Green Canyon and another offensive beatdown is Ben Lomond.
