Baseball Game Preview: Oakwood Lumberjacks vs. Madison Mohawks

For the second straight game, Oakwood will face off against Madison. The Lumberjacks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakwood will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Oakwood gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Madison, sneaking past 5-3.

Oakwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Devine, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Oakwood's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
